Dez Niboh is a music producer residing in St. Louis, MO. Music has made such a big impact on his life, and a big part of why he makes music is for the opportunity to make something that might impact someone else. His goal as a producer has always been to create music that moves people to experience real and genuine emotion. In his opinion, that’s the music that stays with you, impacts you, and connects you with others. To him, that’s when music is at its best.
Dez is a first generation American, and being raised in a Cameroonian home while growing up in America afforded him a unique perspective on many aspects of life, including music. Growing up, his parents would always play 70s era Cameroonian makossa music around the house. His father in particular grew to love 60s era soul groups like the Impressions & the Temptations, so that was regularly playing too. Simultaneously, his taste was also being formed by modern artists/producers like Kanye West, 9th Wonder, & Timbaland. His sound is a collection pieces from those influences.
In his life, Dez has often been so destination oriented that he hasn't always been present enough to slow down and appreciate where he is. Now he's just enjoying his journey, and he hopes that thru the music he shares he can provide a bit more value to yours.
